Image Description

We are driven to provide you with nothing short of the most amazing experience in your life!

Like the page indicates, we want you to have complete certainty by knowing what to expect during the first couple of visits so that you feel comfortable with the decision of joining our practice. Therefore, please read the information below and if you still have any questions, please call our office for an answer.

New Patient Forms: We encourage you to complete the New Patient Forms prior to visiting the practice because this will save approximately 15-20 minutes and allow you to feel extremely comfortable in your own home. If for some reason you have any questions, a member of our office will support you prior to your first scheduled appointment.

Consultation: During the initial Health Consultation, we are here to LISTEN and SUPPORT you and all of your needs. This experience will be extremely unique you will have the opportunity to share what you desire from your life and what you believe is preventing you from making this a reality. We often speak with people who have suffered with their health for years, and as a result, they are often unable to “do the things they enjoy most.” We will no longer allow you to fall short of the life you deserve and this will be part of the conversation during the consultation. In addition, we have had people of all ages and all activity levels truly benefit from the initial consultation because it allowed them to assess their current well-being and then communicate their definition of a life without limitations.

Examination: At the conclusion of the initial health consultation, we will perform a complete and comprehensive chiropractic wellness examination that will test your reflexes, range of motion, as well as many standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical examinations. This examination will allow us to objectively determine what you need in order to dramatically improve the quality of your life.

X-RAYS: Your condition might require an x-ray analysis in order to truly assess where the challenge resides within your body. If/when we decide to perform a series of x-rays, this will allow us to clearly determine the next steps. X-rays provide us with an objective diagnostic tool that will show us the position of the spinal bones, and the quality of the spine and safety of adjusting it. We also use x-rays to determine how long the subluxation have been in the making.

Report of Findings: You will be scheduled for your Report of Findings within a few days of your initial visit, which is where we will share the results that we found with you. This is the perfect opportunity to invite anyone in your family because we will provide you with a detailed analysis of what you need in order to solve the problem that brought you into our office and what can be done in order to assure that it won’t happen again. We are extremely unique in practice because we do not simply look for an answer to the problem that may have brought you into our office, but we also consider your current lifestyle choices, goals for the future, and challenges that are standing in your way. This is why our recommendations are extremely comprehensive and have the chance to be the solution that you have been seeking to find.

Ongoing: Our entire staff strives to keep waiting times to a minimum so we ask that all patients be prompt for their appointments so we can stay on track. Your doctor will want to know what’s new or different with your health since your last visit. Your adjustments will be given by the doctor, then anything else done during that visit will depend on the doctor’s recommendations. Stretching or exercise instruction, or other advice may be given as part of the doctor's plan for you. Questions are not only welcomed, they are encouraged. Knowledge is power.

A typical office visit takes about 5-10 minutes.

We recognize that everybody is extremely unique and different, which is why we consistently update and customize your wellness programs. The foundation for our overall health is based on proper spinal alignment, nutritious foods, regular exercise, high quality supplementation, and a variety of stress relief techniques.

We look forward to working with you so that YOU can live a life of complete health and vitality!

FAQ

Wellness Chiropractic - Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. A New Zealand government study found that adjustments are “remarkably safe.” Chiropractic care enjoys an excellent track record. A thorough exam can identify the rare person for whom chiropractic care might be unsuited.

No. Only the spinal joints that are “locked up” receive adjustments. The occasional spinal joints that move too much, are passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can stabilize and heal.

The number of adjustments varies with each practice member and their individual health goals. Many practice members sense some progress within a week or two of frequent visits. Visits are less often as your spine stabilizes. In difficult cases, complete healing can take months or even years.

Even today’s “natural” childbirth methods can affect an infant’s spine. Colic, unusual crying, poor appetite or erratic sleeping habits can be signs of spinal distress. Adjustments are gentle. Knowing exactly where to adjust, no more pressure than you’d use to test the ripeness of a tomato is involved.

No. Some people can make their joints “pop” but that’s not an adjustment! Adjustments are specific and take years to master. Even your chiropractor must consult a colleague to benefit from chiropractic care.
